Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE policies, procedures, and work instructions that align with local regulations and international best practices.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards, evaluate risk levels, and verify compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
- Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analyses, and corrective‑action planning to prevent recurrence of accidents or near‑miss events.
- Coordinate and deliver HSE training programs, toolbox talks, and safety briefings for all staff levels, fostering a strong safety‑first mindset.
- Manage waste streams, monitor emissions, and oversee environmental impact assessments to ensure responsible resource use and minimal ecological footprint.
- Prepare and submit accurate HSE reports, statistics, and performance metrics to senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and procurement teams to integrate safety considerations into project design and execution.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of evolving government regulations, industry standards, and emerging safety technologies.
- Participate in emergency response planning, drills, and post‑incident reviews.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by recommending innovative safety solutions and environmentally friendly practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (or S1) in Occupational Health & Safety (K3), Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on HSE experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Valid K3 (occupational safety) certification and willingness to maintain professional credentials.
- Strong understanding of HSE management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001) and ability to apply them effectively.
- Proficiency in waste management practices, environmental impact analysis, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent hazard identification and risk assessment skills, with a track record of implementing effective controls.
- Effective communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and verbal.
- Problem‑solving mindset, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or within multidisciplinary teams.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, and respond to urgent safety matters as needed.
