Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and detail‑oriented Merchandiser – Penataan Area Display to join our fast‑growing team in Semarang. In this role, you will be the front‑line ambassador for our brand, ensuring that product placements, shelf organization, and visual displays not only attract consumer attention but also drive sales growth across retail outlets. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator who thrives under pressure, works seamlessly both independently and as part of a collaborative team, and brings at least one year of hands‑on merchandising experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute weekly and monthly planograms for assigned stores, aligning with brand guidelines and promotional calendars.
- Conduct on‑site visits to assess shelf space utilization, product facings, and compliance with merchandising standards.
- Collaborate with sales representatives and category managers to translate market insights into effective display strategies.
- Monitor inventory levels on the floor, coordinate replenishment orders, and report stock‑outs to the logistics team.
- Gather and analyze point‑of‑sale data to identify trends, recommend adjustments, and support sales forecasts.
- Train and mentor junior staff or store personnel on proper product handling, arrangement techniques, and promotional setups.
- Ensure all promotional materials, signage, and price tags are correctly positioned and up‑to‑date.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
- Provide regular feedback to the regional merchandising manager, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum D3/D4 (Associate or Bachelor degree) in Business, Marketing, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience in merchandising, visual display, or retail sales development.
