Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Sales Merchandiser to join our fast‑growing team in Surakarta. As an outsourcing employee, you will represent our brand across a wide network of retail outlets, ensuring optimal product placement, inventory management, and sales performance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily visits to 20–25 retail stores, covering a total of 80–150 outlets per week, to promote and sell our product portfolio.
- Develop and execute merchandising strategies that enhance shelf visibility, adhere to brand guidelines, and drive impulse purchases.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and promotional activities with store managers and owners, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Take accurate store orders, process them through the distributor network, and follow up on delivery schedules to guarantee stock availability.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, outlet performance, and competitor actions using our mobile reporting system.
- Collaborate closely with the area supervisor to align on targets, share market insights, and receive guidance on complex accounts.
- Coordinate with distributor partners on purchase orders (PO), shipment logistics, and inventory replenishment to avoid stockouts.
- Build and nurture long‑term relationships with retailers, acting as the primary point of contact for any product‑related queries or issues.
- Provide feedback on product performance, shelf placement, and promotional effectiveness to the marketing and product development teams.
- Adhere to the work schedule of Monday to Saturday, 08:00‑16:00, and demonstrate punctuality and professionalism at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; all study fields are considered.
- Maximum age: 35 years.
- Gender: Open to all.
- At least 1 year of proven sales experience in the FMCG or personal‑care sector.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with a customer‑centric mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a large outlet base (80‑150 stores) effectively.
- Proficiency in merchandising concepts, including planogram compliance and visual display standards.
- Experience in taking and processing store orders accurately.
- Own a reliable motor vehicle for daily travel to outlets.
- Preferably a resident of Surakarta or surrounding areas to reduce travel time.
- Willingness to join immediately and work under an outsourcing employment status.
