Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Retail Sales Cashier to join our dynamic team in a fast‑paced retail environment. This role is pivotal in delivering an excellent shopping experience, accurately handling all cash and electronic transactions, and supporting store operations from opening to closing. The ideal candidate will be a reliable, communicative professional who thrives under pressure and works well both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system to process cash, credit, debit, and mobile payments with precision and speed.
- Provide courteous and knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering product queries and resolving minor complaints.
- Maintain an organized checkout area, ensuring all merchandise is displayed attractively and promotional signage is up‑to‑date.
- Reconcile daily sales reports, perform cash drops, and prepare end‑of‑day cash balancing sheets.
- Assist with inventory control by conducting regular stock counts, reporting discrepancies, and restocking shelves as needed.
- Collaborate with fellow staff to execute store promotions, seasonal sales events, and special discount programs.
- Adhere to company policies on cash handling, loss prevention, and health & safety standards.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current with product knowledge, POS updates, and customer service best practices.
- Work flexible schedules, including Saturdays, and be prepared to handle peak‑hour traffic while maintaining a calm demeanor.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.

- At least 0 years of relevant experience; prior cashier or retail experience is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers in a friendly, professional manner.
- Honesty, responsibility, and a high level of integrity when handling cash and sensitive information.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team, demonstrating flexibility and cooperation.
- Proven capability to remain focused and efficient while working under pressure, especially during high‑traffic periods.
- Basic proficiency with cash register and POS systems; willingness to learn new software tools.
- Reliability in attendance with a schedule of Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
