Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and answer inquiries about food and beverage options.
- Take accurate orders using POS systems, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are noted.
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks.
- Assist kitchen staff with plating, garnishing, and timely delivery of dishes to tables.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, dining areas, and self‑service buffets.
- Monitor inventory levels of consumables, report low stock, and assist with restocking supplies.
- Handle cash transactions, process credit card payments, and reconcile daily sales reports.
- Address guest complaints promptly and professionally, escalating to management when necessary.
- Participate in regular training sessions on food safety, hygiene standards, and customer service excellence.
- Support team members during peak hours, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to schedule.
Requirements
- Active enrollment in a college or university program, preferably in Hospitality, Business, Tourism, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal abilities with a natural talent for building rapport with guests and teammates.
- High level of motivation, energy, and attention to detail; able to multitask in a bustling environment.
- Positive attitude, creativity, and willingness to contribute innovative ideas for service improvement.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service techniques; prior experience is not required but advantageous.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, including occasional holidays or special events.
