Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new borrowers, presenting Amartha’s loan products and explaining eligibility criteria.
- Conduct on‑site economic assessments for household members, offering tailored financial education and support.
- Perform detailed surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, adhering strictly to internal policies, risk‑assessment procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Manage the full collection cycle, including timely follow‑up, reminder calls, and on‑site visits to ensure repayment compliance.
- Prepare accurate daily and weekly reports on prospecting activities, loan disbursements, and collection status for the regional manager.
- Collaborate closely with the back‑office team to resolve documentation issues, verify data integrity, and streamline the approval workflow.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on product enhancements, digital tools, and best practices in community finance.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent Amartha’s brand values while working in diverse neighborhoods and market settings.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; higher education is a plus.
- Age range: 18‑30 years (maximum 33 years acceptable).
- Open to all genders; preference may be given to female candidates to reflect community demographics.
- Possession of a personal vehicle (motorcycle or car) for daily field travel.
- Strong personal integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and a disciplined work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build trust quickly.
- Resilience and the capacity to work independently in challenging field conditions.
- Basic digital literacy – ability to use mobile applications for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
- Prior experience in sales, community outreach, or micro‑finance is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Willingness to work on‑site Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional weekend visits for urgent collections.
