Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Teknisi Listrik Laundry & Perawatan to join our hospitality team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the laundry facilities and all associated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with hotel standards and local regulations. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in electrical maintenance, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of workplace safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on all electrical, mechanical, and plumbing components of the laundry department, including boilers, filtration systems, and HVAC controls.
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing of electrical circuits, switches, breakers, and emergency power supplies to identify and remediate hazards before they affect operations.
- Diagnose and repair faults in wiring, motors, pumps, and control panels, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous service for hotel guests.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and engineering teams to schedule maintenance activities that align with hotel occupancy patterns and peak laundry usage periods.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service reports, and compliance documentation in accordance with internal audit requirements.
- Ensure all work follows the hotel’s health and safety policies, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to lock‑out/tag‑out procedures.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns, providing rapid troubleshooting and temporary solutions while arranging permanent repairs.
- Assist in the planning and execution of equipment upgrades, retrofits, and energy‑saving initiatives that support the hotel’s sustainability goals.
- Train junior technicians and housekeeping staff on basic safety practices and proper use of laundry equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, disposing of waste materials responsibly and following environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent technical diploma.
- Age: 27 years old or younger.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within a hotel, laundry, or similar hospitality environment.
- Demonstrated skills in boiler maintenance, filter system upkeep, HVAC operation, and HVAC control systems.
- Strong knowledge of local safety codes, electrical standards, and plumbing regulations.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to work independently under pressure.
- Effective communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English is a plus.
- Commitment to a six‑day work week (Monday – Saturday) from 08:00 to 17:00.
- Physical stamina to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
