Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to join our growing team in the Wilayah Tangerang region. This role is essential to expanding our market presence within the adhesives, coatings, paint, and building materials sectors. The ideal candidate will combine a solid understanding of the local territory with strong communication and negotiation skills to drive sales growth and build lasting relationships with retail outlets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan that aligns with company targets, focusing on retail outlets within the Tangerang area.
  • Conduct regular face‑to‑face visits with existing and prospective customers to present product portfolios, address inquiries, and close sales.
  • Identify new business opportunities by mapping untapped retail locations and establishing first‑contact introductions.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and promotional agreements while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure optimal product availability by coordinating with the logistics team, monitoring inventory levels, and arranging timely replenishments.
  • Track stock movements, report losses or damages, and work with warehouse staff to mitigate shrinkage.
  • Analyze competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback to recommend strategic adjustments and promotional campaigns.
  • Prepare and submit daily and weekly sales reports, including performance metrics, pipeline status, and forecasted sales.
  • Collaborate with marketing to plan in‑store promotions, product demonstrations, and training sessions for retail staff.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and new product developments.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a D3/S1 degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is highly preferred.
  • At least 2 years of proven sales experience, preferably within the adhesives, coatings, paint, or building material industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a defined sales territory and achieve or exceed targets.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a customer‑centric mindset.
  • Proficiency in identifying problems, setting realistic sales targets, and managing time effectively.
  • Ability to prepare accurate sales documentation and analytical reports.
  • Gender: open to all candidates; age limit: none.
  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
