Responsibilities
- Prepare, season, and cook a wide variety of menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials, spices, and kitchen supplies, and notify the supervisor of any shortages.
- Operate, clean, and perform routine maintenance on kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, fryers, and slicers.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation protocols are strictly followed, including proper storage temperatures, cross‑contamination prevention, and regular cleaning schedules.
- Collaborate closely with fellow kitchen staff and front‑of‑house teams to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Assist in menu development by providing feedback on ingredient availability, preparation feasibility, and cost control.
- Monitor and manage food waste, proposing improvements to reduce losses and improve profitability.
- Participate in daily briefings, training sessions, and health‑inspection preparations.
- Handle customer special requests and dietary restrictions with accuracy and professionalism.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to the “first in, first out” (FIFO) inventory method.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Open to all ages, with a maximum age limit that aligns with local labor regulations.
- Gender: All genders are welcome.
- Experience: Prior experience in the F&B sector is preferred but not mandatory; on‑the‑job training will be provided for the right candidates.
- Technical Skills: Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment and a solid understanding of food ingredients.
- Soft Skills: Strong teamwork orientation, ability to work under pressure, excellent time‑management, and quick learning of product knowledge.
- Work Schedule: Full‑time availability, Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 kg, and maintain a fast work pace.
