Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to standardized recipes and quality guidelines.
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards, including proper storage, labeling, and temperature control.
- Operate and clean kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors safely and efficiently.
- Assist in inventory management by receiving deliveries, checking stock levels, and reporting any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with chefs, line cooks, and other kitchen personnel to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Support the preparation of mise en place each shift, ensuring all ingredients are ready and organized.
- Adapt to shift changes, overtime, and weekend schedules while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss menu updates, safety drills, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute ideas for new dishes, plating techniques, and operational efficiencies.
- Adhere to company policies on punctuality, dress code, and professional conduct at all times.
Requirements
- Age between 20‑35 years, male or female.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Demonstrated passion for cooking, with basic culinary skills and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a cohesive team.
- Comfortable handling high‑pressure situations, shift work, and occasional overtime.
- Professional demeanor: courteous, diligent, responsible, and loyal.
- Not currently employed, enrolled in full‑time education, or bound by another contractual obligation.
- Basic proficiency in operating kitchen equipment and tools.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
