Introduction

BNI Life is seeking dynamic and results‑driven Bancassurance Specialists (BAS) to join our sales force across multiple locations in Central Java, including Semarang, Ungaran, Tegal, Suradadi, and Jatibarang. As a representative of BNI Life stationed inside BNI Bank branches, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and selling individual life insurance products to bank customers. This position offers a unique blend of banking and insurance expertise, providing you with a platform to develop a robust client portfolio while contributing to the financial security of families across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a detailed sales plan for life insurance products within the assigned BNI branch, aligning targets with corporate objectives.
  • Conduct proactive outreach and face‑to‑face consultations with bank customers, presenting tailored insurance solutions that meet their financial goals.
  • Maintain a pipeline of prospects, track leads in the CRM system, and follow up consistently to convert inquiries into policies.
  • Collaborate closely with BNI branch staff to integrate insurance offerings into the overall banking service suite, ensuring seamless cross‑selling.
  • Provide accurate product knowledge, explain policy terms, and answer regulatory or compliance questions to build trust.
  • Organize and deliver engaging presentations and workshops for both customers and internal bank teams to boost product awareness.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales while adhering to company guidelines and ethical standards.
  • Prepare regular performance reports, sales forecasts, and market feedback for senior management.
  • Participate in continuous training programs to stay current with industry trends, new product launches, and regulatory changes.
  • Foster long‑term relationships with clients, providing post‑sale service, policy reviews, and renewal support.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (associate or bachelor’s degree) in any field; degrees in Finance, Business, or Economics are preferred.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in sales, banking, or insurance environments.
  • Professional, well‑groomed appearance with strong personal presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities; fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated passion for sales and a strong customer‑service orientation.
  • Active AAJI license is not required, but candidates with such certification will be considered favorably.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team within the bank branch.
  • Flexible schedule with willingness to travel between branch locations as needed.
