Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Professional Restaurant Server to join our growing team. Our restaurant specializes in serving fresh, locally sourced produce, including seasonal fruits such as durian. As part of our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, we need a dedicated team member who can handle both front‑of‑house duties and essential support tasks that keep the outlet running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Purchase daily raw materials and supplies from local markets, ensuring freshness, correct quantities, and cost‑effectiveness.
- Prepare and peel durian and other fruit items according to health and safety standards, maintaining proper hygiene throughout the process.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including table setting, floor sweeping, and periodic deep cleaning of the restaurant.
- Assist with inventory checks, restocking shelves, and reporting any discrepancies to the outlet manager.
- Provide attentive and courteous service to guests, taking orders, delivering meals, and addressing special requests promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of dishes and resolve any service‑related issues.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and reconcile daily sales reports with accuracy.
- Support promotional activities, such as setting up special displays for seasonal products and participating in community outreach events.
- Utilize a personal vehicle for market runs and occasional off‑site deliveries, ensuring timely arrival and safe transport of goods.
- Continuously adapt to new menu items, service protocols, and technology tools (e.g., POS systems) introduced by management.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male, aged 18‑27 years.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for market procurement.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and inventory counts.
- Strong adaptability and willingness to learn new procedures quickly.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, customer‑focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team under the supervision of the outlet manager.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads (up to 25 kg).
- Reliability in adhering to scheduled work hours: 08:00 – 17:00, Monday through Friday (exact days to be confirmed).
