Introduction
Pretty Balloon, a leading retailer of party supplies and gift items, is seeking a dedicated Kasir Toko Retail to join its vibrant store team. As the frontline of the customer experience, the cashier plays a pivotal role in ensuring every transaction is accurate, every customer feels welcomed, and the store environment remains organized and secure. This full‑time position offers a dynamic work schedule from Monday to Saturday, 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM, and is ideal for a detail‑oriented, friendly individual who thrives in a fast‑paced retail setting.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, identify their needs, and provide personalized assistance throughout the shopping journey.
- Promote complementary products and light upselling techniques to increase average basket value.
- Process cash, debit, credit, and digital payments swiftly and accurately using the store’s POS system (Kledo or equivalent).
- Enter all sales data into the POS and ensure daily reconciliation of cash drawers.
- Generate and file daily sales reports, supporting the store manager with inventory and financial tracking.
- Handle minor customer complaints according to the standard operating procedures, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Adhere strictly to store SOPs regarding work hours, uniform policy, and transaction flow.
- Safeguard cash, vouchers, and store assets, performing regular security checks.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and well‑stocked sales floor, ensuring product displays are appealing.
- Collaborate with team members on shift handovers, stock replenishment, and promotional events.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a retail cashier.
- Proficiency with POS systems, Google Sheets, and WhatsApp Business for order confirmations.
- Basic knowledge of party‑supply and gift products to answer customer queries confidently.
- Strong numerical aptitude; ability to count cash and perform calculations with high accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, a courteous demeanor, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Reliability, honesty, neat appearance, and a pleasant scent are considered essential for the brand image.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings and occasional overtime.
