Yayasan Konservasi Alam Nusantara (YKAN) is seeking a dynamic and motivated Conservation Acquisition Representative – Fundraiser to join our team in Surabaya. This role is the frontline voice for Indonesia’s natural heritage, responsible for introducing our conservation programs to the public and securing sustainable individual donors who will support ongoing environmental projects across the archipelago.

Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and recruit a minimum of one new sustainable donor each day for YKAN’s individual donation program.
- Conduct face‑to‑face outreach, presentations, and on‑site promotions to educate potential donors about YKAN’s conservation initiatives.
- Maintain accurate, timely reports and updates for the Team Leader, ensuring transparency of daily activities and donor metrics.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective donors, addressing inquiries, complaints, and feedback to maximize donor satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align promotional materials, social media content, and community events with fundraising goals.
- Meet or exceed agreed‑upon fundraising targets through strategic planning and disciplined execution of daily schedules.
- Participate in regular training sessions and skill‑development workshops to sharpen communication, persuasive selling, and public speaking abilities.
- Represent YKAN with integrity, adhering strictly to the organization’s code of ethics and professional standards.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (associate or bachelor degree) in any field.
- At least 1 year of experience in fundraising, sales, public relations, or a related customer‑facing role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex conservation concepts in an accessible manner.
- Confidence in public speaking and ability to engage diverse audiences, from community members to corporate representatives.
- Goal‑oriented mindset with a proven track record of meeting or surpassing targets.
- Self‑starter with a positive attitude, eager to learn and continuously improve.
- Preferably residing in Surabaya or nearby regions to facilitate local outreach.
- Open to both genders; YKAN promotes an inclusive workplace.
- Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule (morning and evening) with a 5‑day work week.
