Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Credit Officer for our Cabang (branch) in Sragen. This role is pivotal in expanding our loan portfolio, ensuring credit quality, and fostering lasting relationships with both prospective and existing borrowers. The successful candidate will work closely with the branch manager and the wider credit team to meet aggressive growth targets while maintaining rigorous risk standards.
Responsibilities
- Identify and attract new loan applicants through proactive prospecting, networking events, and collaboration with local businesses to achieve monthly financing targets.
- Collect, verify, and evaluate applicant documentation, performing detailed credit analysis to determine eligibility and appropriate loan structures.
- Maintain strong, trust‑based relationships with prospective clients and existing borrowers, providing guidance on product features and repayment options.
- Monitor the performance of approved loans, conduct periodic reviews, and ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.
- Initiate timely and professional collection activities, including phone calls, home visits, and written reminders, to recover overdue payments.
- Employ persuasive, solution‑oriented negotiation techniques for delinquent accounts, coordinating with legal or restructuring teams when necessary.
- Prepare regular reports on pipeline, credit risk metrics, and collection status for senior management review.
- Participate in branch sales meetings, share market insights, and suggest product enhancements based on client feedback.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; D3/S1 degrees are a plus.
- Male candidates only, age not exceeding 35 years.
- At least 1 year of experience in credit analysis, banking, or sales/marketing within the financial services sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements, cash‑flow projections, and credit scoring models.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; must be comfortable building rapport with diverse clients.
- Proficiency in using credit management software and MS Office, especially Excel for data analysis.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility for loan portfolio quality.
- Willingness to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional overtime during peak periods.
