We are seeking a highly motivated Staff Senior Tax & Compliance professional to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, a solid grounding in accounting and taxation, and a willingness to travel for field assignments.
Responsibilities
- Review, prepare, and submit monthly tax filings (SPT Masa) using the Coretax system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the latest regulations.
- Perform reconciliation and tax equalization between monthly tax returns (PPh 21, PPh Unifikasi, PPN) and the company’s financial statements and PIB reports.
- Prepare annual corporate tax returns (SPT PPh Badan) and coordinate the supporting documentation required for tax authorities.
- Develop and maintain cash flow statements, accounts receivable and payable schedules, and monitor tax liabilities.
- Respond to SP2DK inquiries and support tax audit preparations, providing clear, documented answers to tax officials.
- Conduct asset and BDMK (Bukti Diterima Mutasi Kas) verification at branch locations, ensuring proper record‑keeping.
- Assist in the reconciliation of branch‑level taxes such as PPh 21, PPh 23, and PPh 4 ayat 2, collaborating closely with local finance teams.
- Stay up‑to‑date with evolving tax laws, regulations, and industry best practices, and proactively advise management on tax planning opportunities.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior staff on tax software, filing procedures, and compliance standards.
- Participate in cross‑functional projects, supporting financial reporting, budgeting, and risk‑management initiatives.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum D3/S1 in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in corporate tax compliance.
- Certifications: Preference for Bravent A and B certification or equivalent professional tax qualifications.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in tax software (Coretax or similar), MS Excel, and ERP accounting systems.
- Knowledge Base: Strong understanding of Indonesian tax codes, recent regulatory updates, and financial reporting standards.
- Soft Skills: Detail‑oriented, analytical, honest, proactive, and able to coordinate effectively across departments.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel for field work and occasional out‑of‑town assignments.
- Personal Traits: Active, diligent, meticulous, courteous, and capable of working both independently and in a team environment.
