Introduction

Adira Finance is seeking a motivated Remedial Officer – Collection to join our dynamic team in Tanjung Pinang, Kepulauan Riau. This role is pivotal in ensuring that overdue receivables are managed efficiently, supporting the company’s cash‑flow stability and customer relationship objectives. The successful candidate will work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 16:00, and will be placed at an Adira Finance office convenient to their domicile.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and execute the full cycle of collection activities for accounts receivable (A/R) that are past due, ensuring timely recovery in line with established targets.
  • Conduct outbound calls, send reminder letters, and arrange face‑to‑face meetings with delinquent borrowers to negotiate repayment plans.
  • Analyze credit files and payment histories to assess risk levels and recommend appropriate remedial actions.
  • Coordinate with the credit underwriting and legal departments to initiate legal proceedings when necessary, while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports, highlighting key performance indicators such as recovery rate, aging buckets, and forecasted cash inflows.
  • Identify patterns of delinquency and propose process improvements to reduce future arrears, working closely with the business development team.
  • Maintain accurate records in the company’s collection management system, ensuring data integrity for audit purposes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, handling objections professionally and preserving the company’s reputation.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (or S1) in any discipline; fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Male candidates, maximum age of 30 years.
  • At least 1 year of experience in collections, credit monitoring, or related financial services is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of the multifinance business model and a results‑oriented mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven negotiation ability.
  • High level of integrity, perseverance, attention to detail, and honesty.
  • Proficiency in using collection software and MS Office applications.
  • Willingness to work on‑site at the Adira Finance office according to the candidate’s residence.
