Introduction

We are seeking a diligent Petugas Pemeliharaan to join our fast‑growing restaurant operation in Balaraja, Tangerang. As a key member of the maintenance team for Mie Gacoan, you will ensure that all kitchen equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, and civil infrastructure operate smoothly and safely. This role offers a dynamic environment where technical expertise meets hands‑on problem solving, supporting the daily service of our popular noodle and fast‑food concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on kitchen appliances such as noodle boilers, deep fryers, gas stoves, and cup sealers to minimize downtime.
  • Diagnose and repair basic electrical faults, including circuit breakers, wiring, and control panels, ensuring compliance with local safety regulations.
  • Address plumbing issues—leaks, clogged drains, and water pressure problems—that could affect food safety or operational efficiency.
  • Inspect and maintain mechanical components of refrigeration units, ventilation fans, and other HVAC systems critical to food storage.
  • Replace worn or damaged parts, calibrate equipment, and conduct functional tests after each repair.
  • Document all maintenance activities in daily reports, highlighting recurring issues, parts used, and recommendations for long‑term improvements.
  • Collaborate with kitchen supervisors and restaurant managers to prioritize work orders during peak service hours.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work environment in accordance with the company’s occupational safety standards.
  • Participate in shift rotations and be flexible to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as operational needs dictate.
  • Assist in training junior staff on basic troubleshooting techniques and proper equipment handling.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; preferably a vocational diploma (SMK/STM) in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Air‑Conditioning (Tata Udara).
  • At least 1–2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or similar fast‑service environment.
  • Proven ability to work on electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems, with a solid understanding of safety protocols.
  • Male candidates, age not exceeding 30 years, who are willing to be placed in the Mie Gacoan Tangerang Balaraja location.
  • Strong personal attributes: honesty, discipline, responsibility, loyalty, creativity, hard‑working attitude, active participation, innovation, and high dedication.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the capability to operate independently when required.
  • Effective communication and coordination abilities to interact with supervisors and cross‑functional teams.
  • Willingness to work shifting schedules, including weekends, with core hours from 08:00 to 17:00 (flexible based on operational demands).
  • Analytical mindset and problem‑solving orientation, especially in fast‑paced kitchen environments.
