The position offers a full‑time schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, allowing you to develop professional barista skills while interacting with a diverse clientele.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of espresso‑based drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and specialty beverages in accordance with our standard recipes.
- Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and food safety, ensuring all equipment is cleaned and calibrated daily.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, steam wands, and other coffee‑making tools with precision and consistency.
- Engage with customers, offering personalized recommendations, answering product questions, and creating a memorable coffee experience.
- Handle cash transactions, process digital payments, and accurately record sales using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation, restocking supplies, and reporting low‑stock items to the manager.
- Support light kitchen duties such as preparing simple pastries, sandwiches, or snacks when required, leveraging basic cooking skills.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow during peak hours and maintain a clean, organized service area.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on emerging coffee trends, new brewing techniques, and product innovations.
- Contribute ideas for menu enhancements, promotional events, and community outreach programs that align with our brand values.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Applicants must be 25 years old or younger.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Residence: Must be a resident of Gresik City or willing to relocate.
- Experience: No prior barista experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Skills: Strong interest in coffee culture, basic culinary ability (preferred), excellent communication, and a friendly demeanor.
- Attributes: Ability to work under pressure, strong attention to detail, reliable attendance, and a collaborative team spirit.
- Physical: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 kg.
