Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Operational Laundry Staff to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of laundry operators, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Monitor and maintain laundry equipment (washers, dryers, presses) to guarantee optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Implement and enforce strict hygiene and safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and personal protective equipment.
- Conduct regular quality checks on processed linens, garments, and textiles, addressing any defects or customer complaints promptly.
- Manage inventory of detergents, softeners, spare parts, and finished goods, coordinating with procurement for timely replenishment.
- Develop and maintain shift rosters, ensuring adequate staffing for peak periods while complying with labor regulations.
- Train new hires and provide ongoing coaching to existing staff on best practices, equipment usage, and customer service excellence.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as turnaround time, load capacity utilization, and waste reduction, presenting reports to senior management.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to schedule pickup and delivery of laundry loads, optimizing routes to reduce costs.
- Handle overtime requests, emergency situations, and high‑pressure periods with composure and professionalism.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) – candidates with D3 or S1 qualifications are preferred for specialized roles.
- Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience in a laundry or textile processing environment.
