Introduction
The Senior Staff Housekeeping position is a pivotal role within our hospitality operations, responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across all guest areas. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily cleaning activities for guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house facilities, ensuring compliance with company standards and guest expectations.
- Conduct regular quality‑control inspections, document findings, and implement corrective actions to continuously improve cleanliness and presentation.
- Develop and manage staff schedules, allocate workloads efficiently, and coordinate shift rotations to guarantee optimal coverage from Monday through Saturday.
- Train new hires and provide ongoing coaching on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, proper use of chemicals, and equipment handling.
- Maintain accurate inventory of housekeeping supplies, linens, and amenities; place orders and control costs to stay within budgetary limits.
- Collaborate closely with front‑desk, maintenance, and food‑and‑beverage departments to address guest requests, special events, and emergency situations promptly.
- Prepare detailed daily and weekly reports on room status, occupancy, and any incidents, presenting findings to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, including proper waste disposal and the use of eco‑friendly cleaning products.
- Promote a culture of professionalism, reliability, and continuous improvement among team members.
- Assist in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and update them in response to industry trends and guest feedback.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA) or Vocational School (SMK) equivalent; additional hospitality training is a plus.

- Strong verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is advantageous.
