Introduction

We are seeking a proactive HR Officer – Recruitment & Employee Relations to join our dynamic team at a leading international hotel chain. This role is pivotal in attracting top talent, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring seamless employee experiences across all levels. The successful candidate will work Monday to Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, and will report directly to the HR Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes for hotel operations, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities, ensuring new hires receive proper orientation, documentation, and training resources.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, mediating conflicts and facilitating effective resolution.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date employee records within the HR Management System (HRMS) and ensure compliance with local labor regulations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance appraisal cycles, providing guidance to managers and staff.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify workforce planning needs and create talent pipelines for future growth.
  • Support the design and delivery of training programs that enhance skill development, customer service excellence, and leadership capabilities.
  • Prepare regular HR reports and analytics on turnover, recruitment metrics, and employee engagement for senior leadership.
  • Promote the hotel’s employer brand through social media, career fairs, and partnerships with hospitality schools.
  • Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical conduct in all HR activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar HR role within an international chain hotel.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Fluent verbal and written English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
  • Demonstrated integrity, a positive attitude, and a team‑oriented mindset.
  • Excellent organizational discipline, a well‑groomed appearance, and a natural learning agility.
  • Ability to work under target‑driven pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Immediate availability to join the team.
  • Familiarity with HR Management Systems (HRMS) and basic knowledge of labor law.
