Introduction
Kedai Kopi Purwodadi is a vibrant, community‑focused coffee shop located in the heart of Purwodadi. We pride ourselves on serving specialty coffee drinks, freshly baked pastries, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere for both regulars and visitors. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer‑oriented individuals to join our team as Baristas. This role offers an excellent entry point into the food‑and‑beverage (FnB) industry, providing hands‑on experience with coffee preparation, customer service, and daily shop operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee beverages—including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and pour‑over—according to standardized recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by regularly sanitizing equipment, counters, and seating areas.
- Operate point‑of‑sale (POS) systems accurately, handle cash transactions, and process digital payments.
- Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, pastries, and other consumables, notifying the manager when supplies run low.
- Provide friendly, prompt, and attentive service to each guest, addressing special requests or concerns with professionalism.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation, equipment shutdown, and daily reporting.
- Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth shift transitions, share knowledge, and support a positive team dynamic.
- Participate in regular training sessions on coffee brewing techniques, new menu items, and health‑safety protocols.
- Uphold the shop’s brand standards by maintaining an attractive personal appearance and representing the company positively.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 25 years or younger.
- Gender: Female (preference) – however, all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Honest, disciplined, quick‑thinking, and responsible.
- Polished personal appearance and a friendly demeanor.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Willingness to work full‑time or shift schedules, including weekends.
- Previous experience in the FnB sector, especially as a barista, is highly preferred.
- Not currently enrolled in a degree program (full availability required).
- Active SKCK (Police Clearance Certificate) indicating no criminal record.
- Basic knowledge of coffee brewing methods and a passion for learning new techniques.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
