Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Petugas Remedial to join our collection team in Palembang. This role is critical for managing non‑performing loan (NPL) portfolios, reducing overdue balances, and driving the recovery of write‑off accounts. The successful candidate will work Monday through Friday, from 08:30 to 17:30, and will be based in the Palembang area. Responsibilities
- Reduce overdue balances in the NPL bucket (90+ days) by implementing targeted collection strategies.
- Maintain a steady flow of Potential Write‑Off (POWO) opportunities by identifying high‑risk accounts early.
- Execute recovery actions for accounts slated for write‑off, ensuring maximum recoverable amounts.
- Conduct thorough account analyses to determine the most effective negotiation approach for each debtor.
- Coordinate with external partners such as Profcoll and other legal service providers to facilitate complex recoveries.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for senior management, highlighting progress against targets.
- Collaborate closely with the broader collections team to share best practices and support cross‑functional initiatives.
- Adhere to all internal compliance policies and external regulatory requirements while handling sensitive financial data.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a background in legal studies is a strong advantage.
- Male candidates only, aged 35 years or younger.
- At least 3 years of proven experience in a collections or credit recovery role.
- Active motor vehicle ownership with a valid SIM A & C license.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and close deals under pressure.
- Established network of external contacts in the legal and debt‑recovery sectors (e.g., Profcoll).
- Strong analytical skills to assess account health and prioritize actions.
- Team‑oriented mindset with a clear focus on meeting and exceeding targets.
- Willingness to work on‑site in Palembang and travel within the designated area as needed.
