As a courier, you will be the front‑line representative of our brand, ensuring parcels move swiftly from our central depot to the hands of our customers. Responsibilities
- Collect parcels and packages from the central depot and deliver them to the designated addresses according to daily routing instructions.
- Meet or exceed daily delivery targets while adhering to company‑defined service standards.
- Inspect each shipment before departure to prevent damage or loss during transit.
- Obtain a signed receipt or electronic confirmation from recipients for every successful delivery.
- Handle cash‑on‑delivery (COD) transactions securely, providing accurate change and recording amounts.
- Maintain precise paper or digital logs of deliveries, including timestamps, signatures, and any delivery exceptions.
- Report any incidents, traffic delays, or vehicle issues promptly to the dispatch team.
- Perform routine checks on your motorcycle to ensure it remains road‑worthy and presentable.
- Assist in occasional special‑project deliveries, such as time‑sensitive documents or high‑value items.
- Collaborate with fellow couriers and depot staff to optimize routing efficiency and share best practices.
Requirements
- Valid Indonesian Identity Card (KTP) – original copy required.
- Own a well‑maintained motorcycle suitable for city and suburban travel.
- Own an Android smartphone with minimum specifications: 3 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage, capable of running our delivery app.
- Familiarity with the assigned delivery area in Palembang, including major streets, neighborhoods, and shortcuts.
- All education levels are welcome; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
- Age not exceeding 45 years.
- Open to all genders.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and the ability to work independently.
- Basic math skills for handling COD payments and change.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting politely with customers and team members.
- Ability to navigate traffic safely and adhere to all road safety regulations.
