Introduction

We are seeking a motivated Staf Pendukung Operasional Dapur to join our fast‑paced kitchen team. This entry‑level position is ideal for young men who have completed at least a junior high school education (SMP/MTS or equivalent) and are eager to start a career in the food‑service industry. The role provides hands‑on experience with kitchen equipment, hygiene standards, and daily operational workflows, offering a solid foundation for future advancement in hospitality or culinary management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the head chef and kitchen staff in preparing ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning.
  • Operate, clean, and maintain basic kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, mixers, and food processors.
  • Ensure all workstations are organized, stocked, and compliant with food‑safety regulations.
  • Support the receiving team by unloading deliveries, checking inventory against purchase orders, and storing items properly.
  • Monitor kitchen cleanliness, including sweeping floors, wiping surfaces, and disposing of waste according to health standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of simple menu items under supervision, following standard recipes and portion control guidelines.
  • Participate in daily pre‑service briefings and post‑service debriefs to communicate any issues or suggestions.
  • Maintain personal hygiene and wear appropriate protective gear (hair net, gloves, apron) at all times.
  • Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly to the kitchen manager.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by demonstrating reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn.

Requirements

  • Gender: Male (Laki‑laki).
  • Age: 17‑23 years.
  • Education: Minimum junior high school (SMP/MTS) or equivalent.
  • Physical fitness: Able to stand for long periods, lift up to 20 kg, and perform repetitive motions safely.
  • Core attributes: Hard‑working, honest, disciplined, and responsible.
  • Health: Good physical and mental health, with no conditions that would impede kitchen duties.
  • Basic skill: Ability to operate common kitchen equipment and follow safety procedures.
  • Availability: Full‑time, Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
  • Strong desire to grow within the culinary field and willingness to attend on‑the‑job training.
