We are looking for an enthusiastic, service‑oriented Receptionist who can be the friendly face of our property while delivering a memorable, hospitality‑focused experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage guest arrivals and departures efficiently, processing check‑ins and check‑outs using our property management system.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone, email, and messaging apps, providing accurate information about rooms, rates, and local attractions.
- Collect and monitor online reviews, encouraging satisfied guests to share their experiences and addressing any negative feedback with professionalism.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues on the spot, ensuring a positive outcome and maintaining the hostel’s reputation for excellent service.
- Prepare and serve complimentary beverages such as coffee, tea, and signature cocktails, adding a personal touch to the guest welcome.
- Organize and promote on‑site games, social events, and themed parties that reflect the hostel’s “Social Party Vibes” brand.
- Coordinate daily tours and excursions, liaising with local partners, preparing itineraries, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain clean and orderly front‑desk and lobby areas, including inventory checks for stationery, key cards, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and the marketing team to ensure seamless operations and consistent brand messaging.
- Record daily financial transactions, prepare cash reports, and assist with basic accounting tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- All genders are welcome; gender‑specific staff housing is provided (no mixed rooms).
- Strong command of English, both spoken and written, to communicate with international guests.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport quickly.
- Basic knowledge of coffee, tea, and cocktail preparation is a plus.
- Team‑player mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
- Flexibility to work six days a week (Monday‑Sunday) with one day off, from 08:00 to 16:00, including a one‑hour break.
- Positive attitude, problem‑solving mindset, and a passion for travel and hospitality.
