Introduction

The Security Officer (Gada Pratama) position is based in the bustling Central Pank area of Jakarta Barat and is dedicated to providing high‑level protection for senior officials of the Bawaslu (Election Supervisory Board). This role is essential for maintaining the safety and integrity of public officials during official duties, events, and travel. The successful candidate will be a disciplined, vigilant professional who can operate effectively both during regular hours and on short‑notice overtime assignments.

We are looking for a motivated male candidate, aged 36 or younger, who has at least one year of proven security experience and a minimum education level of SMA/SMK or equivalent. In addition to physical security skills, the candidate should possess strong interpersonal abilities and a clear understanding of protocol for high‑profile escort duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide close protection and personal escort services for Bawaslu officials during meetings, inspections, and public appearances.
• Conduct pre‑event security assessments, including route planning, venue inspections, and threat analysis.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement, venue security teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless protection coverage.
• Maintain constant vigilance, monitoring for potential risks and responding swiftly to any security incidents.
• Execute crowd‑control measures and manage access control points to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Prepare detailed after‑action reports documenting incidents, observations, and recommendations for future improvements.
• Stay on call for emergency deployments and be prepared to work outside regular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and protocol as a senior (Gada Madya) security officer.
• Utilize basic security software tools and, where required, apply 3D Max visualizations for spatial risk assessments.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent.
• Gender: Male.
• Age: Not older than 36 years.
• Experience: At least 1 year of relevant security or protection work, preferably in a governmental or high‑profile environment.
• Certification: Must hold a valid Gada Madya (Security Officer) qualification.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with 3D Max for visualizing security layouts and strong analytical abilities for security risk assessment.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to stand, walk, and respond quickly for extended periods; must pass a basic physical endurance test.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, discretion, composure under pressure, strong teamwork, and a proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Availability: Willingness to work from Monday to Saturday, 10:00 – 22:00, and to perform overtime or on‑call duties when required.
