We are seeking a motivated Cook Helper to join our busy kitchen team. The role combines hands‑on food preparation, general kitchen support, and occasional cashier duties, providing a well‑rounded experience in both back‑of‑house and front‑of‑house operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist chefs and senior kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, washing, and portioning ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper sanitation of surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
  • Support inventory management by receiving deliveries, labeling stock, and rotating perishable items to minimize waste.
  • Prepare simple menu items under supervision, ensuring consistency with recipe standards and presentation guidelines.
  • Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions when needed, providing friendly and accurate service.
  • Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
  • Monitor kitchen supplies and report low stock levels to the supervisor for timely re‑ordering.
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations, including proper temperature control and allergen awareness.
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down the dining area, including table arrangements and clearing dishes.
  • Participate in regular training sessions on hygiene, equipment usage, and customer service best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age: Open to candidates up to 30 years old (flexible based on experience).
  • Gender: Female candidates are preferred to align with current team composition.
  • Basic cooking skills and a genuine interest in learning culinary techniques.
  • Honest, friendly, quick‑thinking, and communicative personality.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and follow directions promptly.
  • Willingness to take on cashier responsibilities when required.
  • No prior professional experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
