Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and present menus in a courteous manner.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, answer menu-related questions, and make recommendations based on guests’ preferences.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders, and verify that dishes meet quality standards before serving.
- Serve meals, drinks, and desserts with proper etiquette, continuously checking on guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
- Handle payment transactions, process cash, credit card, and digital payments, and issue receipts while maintaining strict accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including setting and resetting tables, polishing silverware, and ensuring all service stations are stocked.
- Collaborate closely with fellow waitstaff, hosts, and management to manage peak periods efficiently and uphold a seamless flow of service.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including proper handling of food, sanitation of work surfaces, and compliance with personal grooming standards.
- Participate in regular training sessions, menu tastings, and briefings to stay updated on new offerings, promotions, and service protocols.
- Flexibly work shift schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the operational calendar.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Open to candidates of any gender; diversity and inclusion are core values.
- Basic or no prior experience is acceptable; however, experience in restaurants, cafés, or pastry shops is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia (additional language abilities are a plus).
- Professional appearance and a friendly demeanor that enhances guest perception.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues during busy service periods.
- Willingness to be assigned to any city where the company operates, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Readiness to work on a shift basis, including potential weekend and holiday assignments.
- Fundamental knowledge of food and beverage service techniques, including proper table setting and order taking.
