Responsibilities
- Actively promote and demonstrate electronic devices, gadgets, automotive accessories, and leasing packages to walk‑in customers and scheduled leads.
- Identify customer needs through effective questioning, recommend appropriate solutions, and close sales to meet or exceed monthly targets.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date knowledge base of product specifications, promotional offers, and competitor activity to provide accurate information and persuasive arguments.
- Develop and nurture relationships with existing customers, encouraging repeat purchases and referrals through excellent post‑sale follow‑up.
- Utilize CRM and customer‑management tools to log interactions, track leads, and generate sales reports for management review.
- Collaborate with the merchandising and inventory teams to ensure product displays are attractive, well‑stocked, and aligned with current marketing campaigns.
- Participate in regular training sessions, product launch events, and community outreach programs to stay ahead of market trends and enhance personal selling skills.
- Assist in organizing in‑store promotions, demo days, and seasonal sales events, ensuring all promotional material is properly displayed and the store environment reflects the brand’s standards.
- Provide feedback to the purchasing department regarding customer preferences, emerging product demands, and potential gaps in the current assortment.
- Adhere to company policies on pricing, discounts, and warranty terms while maintaining a high level of ethical conduct and customer trust.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a high school diploma is required.
- Age: 35 years maximum (flexible up to 40 years for exceptional candidates).
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in sales of electronics, gadgets, automotive products, or leasing services.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical features in an easy‑to‑understand manner.
- Demonstrated honesty, loyalty, and a customer‑centric attitude.
- Proficiency with sales tools such as point‑of‑sale (POS) systems, customer relationship management (CRM) software, and basic data analysis tools.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team, managing time effectively to meet daily and weekly sales objectives.
- Flexibility to work within the defined schedule (08:00 – 17:00) and adapt to occasional promotional events outside regular hours.
- Valid identification and the ability to travel within the Ternate area for off‑site demonstrations or client meetings.
