Introduction

We are a fast‑growing specialty retailer and distributor of premium vaping products operating in the Greater Jakarta area. To fuel our expansion in South Jakarta, we are seeking a dynamic Manajer Penjualan who can lead a high‑performing sales team, build strong relationships with vape shops and distributors, and consistently exceed monthly revenue targets. Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular field visits to existing vape stores and emerging distributors, identifying opportunities for product placement and upselling.
  • Develop and execute territory growth plans that align with corporate sales objectives, targeting a minimum 15% increase in outlet coverage each quarter.
  • Maintain and nurture long‑term relationships with key accounts, providing product training, promotional support, and timely problem resolution.
  • Collaborate with marketing to launch new product lines, coordinate in‑store promotions, and gather market intelligence on consumer trends.
  • Monitor inventory levels at partner locations, ensuring optimal stock availability and reducing stock‑out incidents.
  • Achieve and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports, performance dashboards, and market analyses for senior management review.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a small team of sales representatives, setting clear goals, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with regulatory changes affecting the vaping industry and ensure compliance across all sales activities.
  • Participate in weekly strategy meetings, sharing insights from the field and contributing to the development of pricing, discount, and incentive programs.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of proven sales experience in the vaping, tobacco, or FMCG sector, with a track record of managing key accounts.
  • Male candidates only, as specified by the client’s current operational policy.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, capable of building trust with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a sales team, set objectives, and drive results through coaching and accountability.
  • Excellent analytical abilities to interpret sales data, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM tools.
  • Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional travel to out‑of‑town distributor meetings.
