This role is critical to ensuring that all departments—rooms, food & beverage, maintenance, and more—receive high‑quality goods and services on time, within budget, and in full compliance with our standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies that align with the hotel’s financial goals and sustainability objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with suppliers for a wide range of categories, including linens, food & beverage items, cleaning chemicals, and capital equipment.
- Maintain and continuously improve a preferred‑vendor list, ensuring competitive pricing, reliable delivery, and adherence to quality specifications.
- Collaborate closely with department heads (Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering, Front Office) to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and prevent stock‑outs or excess.
- Oversee the end‑to‑end purchasing cycle, from requisition approval and purchase order issuance to receipt, inspection, and invoice processing.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with corporate policies, local regulations, and ethical sourcing standards, including anti‑bribery and sustainability guidelines.
- Prepare regular reports on spend analysis, supplier performance, and cost‑saving initiatives for senior management review.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate a small team of procurement assistants, fostering a collaborative environment that thrives under pressure.
- Conduct market research to anticipate price trends and supply risks, proactively adjusting procurement plans.
- Drive continuous improvement projects, such as e‑procurement system adoption and waste reduction programs.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in purchasing or procurement within the hospitality or resort sector.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build lasting supplier relationships.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—in Bahasa Indonesia and preferably English.
- Demonstrated honesty, accountability, and a high level of integrity.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Resilience under tight deadlines and the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency with procurement software, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and basic data analysis tools.

- Flexible to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime during peak periods.
