We are seeking a dynamic Business Partner – Staff Lapangan who will act as the frontline ambassador for our loan program, building relationships with prospective borrowers and supporting existing clients. Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential borrowers by conducting door‑to‑door outreach, community events, and referrals to promote Amartha’s capital‑raising programs.
- Provide ongoing economic counseling and financial education to household members, helping them improve budgeting, savings, and repayment habits.
- Perform on‑site surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with internal credit policies, risk‑assessment procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare detailed reports on borrower eligibility, market conditions, and competitive landscape to support the underwriting team.
- Manage the full cycle of collections, including reminder calls, in‑person visits, and negotiation of repayment plans while maintaining respectful client relationships.
- Coordinate with regional supervisors to track performance metrics, share best practices, and propose process improvements for field operations.
- Maintain accurate records in Amartha’s CRM system, documenting every client interaction, loan status, and field observation.
- Participate in regular training sessions and community workshops to stay current on digital lending tools, agricultural financing trends, and local economic developments.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age range: 18‑30 years (maximum 33 years preferred).
- Both male and female candidates are welcome; female applicants are highly encouraged.
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for daily field visits.
- Strong personal integrity, honesty, meticulous attention to detail, and a disciplined work ethic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust quickly in diverse communities.
- Resilience and adaptability to work independently under varying weather and logistical conditions.
- Basic digital literacy: comfortable using smartphones, mobile applications, and Amartha’s proprietary loan assessment tools.
- Experience in micro‑finance, sales, community outreach, or related fields is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Willingness to work on‑site every day, Monday through Friday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
