Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Petugas Pemeriksa dan Pembantu Gudang to join our dynamic logistics team in the Tanjung Raja area. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth flow of consumer goods from inbound shipments to outbound deliveries. The ideal candidate will be a reliable, detail‑oriented individual who thrives in a fast‑paced warehouse environment and possesses a solid foundation in inventory handling and quality inspection.
Responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Conduct thorough visual and dimensional inspections of all goods, noting any damages, discrepancies, or missing items.
- Record receipt of merchandise in the warehouse management system, ensuring accurate data entry.
- Organize and label received items for easy retrieval, following established storage procedures.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks, pallets, and containers, using manual handling techniques and equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks when authorized.
- Prepare outbound orders by picking, packing, and staging goods for delivery, ensuring correct quantities and proper documentation.
- Coordinate with the transportation team to schedule timely dispatches and resolve any loading issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area in compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Support inventory counts, cycle counts, and periodic audits to reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Provide clear communication with supervisors and other departments regarding stock levels, potential shortages, or process improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates, at least 20 years of age.
- Resides in Tanjung Raja or surrounding areas.
- At least 1 year of experience in warehouse operations, preferably within the consumer‑goods sector.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in field and loading‑unloading environments.
- Strong sense of honesty, responsibility, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic warehouse processes: receiving, inspection, inventory recording, and handling of loading/unloading procedures.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 18:00, with flexibility for occasional overtime.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and the ability to follow written instructions.
