Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Petugas Pengumpulan Lapangan (Field Collection Officer) to join our dynamic team in Cilacap. This role is crucial for maintaining healthy cash flow by ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments from our valued customers. As a front‑line representative of the company, you will engage directly with clients, build strong relationships, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.
The successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of the Cilacap region, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting daily and weekly targets. This is a full‑time position with regular office hours from Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site visits to customers for debt collection and payment processing.
- Negotiate payment terms and settlements while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Gather and verify payment receipts, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily and weekly visit reports to the supervisor.
- Achieve or exceed the collection targets assigned by management.
- Identify and report any potential fraud or irregularities encountered during field visits.
- Provide feedback to the credit department on customer payment trends and potential risk factors.
- Maintain the company‑issued motorbike in good condition and ensure compliance with traffic regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates only.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in collection or a related field; 2 years preferred.
- Possession of a valid motorbike (Roda Dua) and an active SIM C.
- In‑depth knowledge of the Cilacap area, including major streets and neighborhoods.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations calmly.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail for accurate reporting.
- Physical stamina to travel throughout the region and conduct multiple visits per day.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, data entry tools) for report preparation.
