Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market and scientific research to identify opportunities for new product development aligned with company targets.
- Design, execute, and document product trials, ensuring that all prototypes meet predefined quality and safety standards.
- Develop and optimize formulas, manufacturing methods, and production processes to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and enhance product performance.
- Analyze raw material specifications, perform supplier audits, and verify compliance with internal and external quality benchmarks.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Quality Control (QC), and Marketing teams to ensure seamless hand‑over from development to full‑scale manufacturing.
- Prepare regular technical reports, presentation decks, and performance dashboards for senior management review.
- Identify and implement product improvements for existing lines, leveraging feedback from customers, sales data, and post‑market surveillance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to foster innovative product concepts.
- Mentor junior R&D staff, fostering a culture of curiosity, data‑driven decision making, and collaborative problem solving.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on‑time delivery of R&D milestones.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4, preferably a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Food Technology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in research and development; fresh graduates with strong academic projects are encouraged to apply.
- Proven ability to design experiments, analyze data, and draw actionable conclusions.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Creative and innovative mindset, capable of generating novel product concepts.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is a plus.
- Flexibility to work Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional overtime for critical project phases.
