Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, verify reservations, and manage check‑in/check‑out procedures efficiently.
- Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and transportation options, delivering recommendations in both Indonesian and English.
- Handle telephone inquiries, email correspondence, and online chat requests promptly, ensuring a high level of responsiveness.
- Process payments, issue invoices, and coordinate with the finance department for any billing discrepancies.
- Maintain an organized and tidy reception area, performing simple cleaning tasks such as arranging magazines, wiping surfaces, and ensuring the lobby remains presentable at all times.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, concierge, and food‑and‑beverage teams to fulfill guest special requests, such as extra pillows, room service orders, or transportation arrangements.
- Record and report any incidents, guest complaints, or maintenance issues using the hotel’s property management system (PMS).
- Uphold the hotel’s brand standards by adhering to dress code, grooming guidelines, and confidentiality policies.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (D4) in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or related fields.
- No age limit; candidates of any age are welcome.
- Open to all genders.
- Zero to two years of prior experience in a front‑desk or customer‑service role (training will be provided for entry‑level candidates).
- Proficient in spoken and written English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy, familiarity with property management software is advantageous.
- Willingness to perform light cleaning duties and maintain the aesthetic standards of the reception area.
