We are currently seeking a diligent and personable Petugas Kasir Penjualan Ritel dan Penanganan Transaksi to join our front‑line team. Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently, scanning items, processing cash, credit, and digital payments, and issuing accurate receipts.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in compliance with company policies while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, reporting any discrepancies promptly.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, provide recommendations, and resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including regular restocking of impulse‑buy items and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with inventory control staff to report stock‑outs, damaged goods, and discrepancies during daily transactions.
- Participate in periodic audits and loss‑prevention initiatives, adhering to security protocols and anti‑theft procedures.
- Work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, while managing peak‑hour traffic without compromising service quality.
- Support team members during busy periods by assisting with bagging, floor sales, or other store duties as needed.
Requirements
- Gender: Open to all genders; however, the position specifically seeks a female candidate who is currently unmarried.
- Residence: Preference given to candidates residing in or near Jember.
- Education: Minimum of SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior experience as a cashier or in the Food & Beverage (FNB) sector is a strong plus.
- Personal Attributes: Honest, responsible, and able to communicate clearly and courteously with customers and colleagues.
- Professional Attitude: Demonstrates strong work ethics, punctuality, meticulousness, and a friendly demeanor.
- Stress Management: Capable of performing under pressure, especially during high‑traffic periods.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with basic POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Availability: Willingness to work the schedule of Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, including shift rotations when required.
