Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated Petugas Pemeriksa Produksi dan Kontrol Kualitas to join our manufacturing team. This role is critical for ensuring that every product leaving our facility meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance. The successful candidate will work closely with production supervisors, engineering staff, and quality assurance specialists to monitor processes, conduct inspections, and drive continuous improvement across all shifts.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily visual and instrumental inspections of raw materials, work‑in‑progress, and finished goods to verify compliance with specifications.
- Document inspection results, generate non‑conformance reports, and collaborate with the production team to implement corrective actions.
- Monitor key process parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time, etc.) and ensure they remain within defined control limits.
- Lead a small team of junior inspectors, providing coaching, scheduling, and performance feedback.
- Participate in shift handovers, communicating any quality issues, equipment concerns, or procedural changes to the incoming crew.
- Assist in the development and revision of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions related to quality control.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and demonstrating compliance with ISO 9001 and industry‑specific standards.
- Identify trends in defect data, propose root‑cause analyses, and recommend process improvements to reduce waste and increase yield.
- Maintain calibration records for measuring instruments and ensure all testing equipment is functional and certified.
- Promote a culture of safety and quality awareness throughout the production floor.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any discipline; degrees in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or Quality Management are a plus.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in production inspection, quality control, or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule, including weekends (Monday – Saturday).
- Strong leadership and team‑management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse workforce.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is advantageous.
- Proficiency with quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, and 5‑Why analysis.
- Detail‑oriented mindset, high integrity, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Ability to use digital inspection systems, ERP/MRP software, and basic Microsoft Office applications.
