Introduction
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Motorcycle Courier to join our logistics team in Tanjung Karang, Lampung. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that parcels, documents, and small freight reach customers quickly and safely. Responsibilities
- Load, transport, and deliver packages using a personal motorcycle, adhering to all traffic regulations and company safety standards.
- Inspect orders before departure and after delivery to verify completeness, correct labeling, and condition of goods.
- Assist with loading and unloading items from the motorcycle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, update the dispatch system in real time, and submit daily reports to the operations supervisor.
- Communicate proactively with customers to confirm delivery windows, obtain signatures, and resolve any on‑site issues.
- Perform routine checks on the motorcycle (fuel, tire pressure, brakes) and report any maintenance needs to keep the vehicle in prime condition.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to prioritize urgent shipments and manage peak‑time volume efficiently.
- Utilize a smartphone with the company’s routing app to navigate efficiently, capture proof of delivery, and handle electronic documentation.
- Adhere to the designated work schedule (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00) and attend periodic training sessions on safety and customer service.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Junior High School (SMP/MTS) or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑45 years.
- Valid Indonesian driving license for motorcycles (SIM C) and a personally owned motorcycle in excellent working order.
- Residence within the assigned delivery zone or willingness to relocate to the Tanjung Karang area.
- Android smartphone with at least 3 GB RAM to run the company’s logistics application.
- Strong knowledge of local road networks, shortcuts, and traffic patterns.
- Excellent time‑management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple deliveries.
- Good communication skills, courteous attitude toward customers, and a problem‑solving mindset.
- Physical stamina to load and unload parcels regularly and to ride for extended periods.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a clean driving record are essential.
