Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and customer‑focused Waitress to join our fast‑growing food and beverage service team. The position is full‑time, Monday through Saturday, with working hours from 08:00 to 17:00. Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly, present menus, and provide detailed explanations of dishes, daily specials, and beverage selections.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using handheld POS systems, and ensure timely delivery to the kitchen and bar.
- Monitor table progress, refill drinks, clear used dishes, and anticipate additional guest needs before being asked.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, including table settings, side rails, and service areas.
- Collaborate closely with chefs, bartenders, and fellow servers to coordinate order flow and manage peak‑hour pressure.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and generate accurate bills while adhering to company policies.
- Respond to guest feedback—both positive and constructive—with professionalism and a solution‑oriented mindset.
- Participate in regular training sessions on food safety, allergen awareness, and upselling techniques.
- Assist in inventory checks, stock replenishment of tableware, and reporting of any equipment issues.
- Uphold the restaurant’s brand standards by presenting a polished appearance and exhibiting courteous, friendly behavior at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a high‑traffic restaurant or café.
- Strong communication skills in Indonesian; basic English is a plus.
- Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Resilience under pressure; capable of maintaining composure during busy service periods.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Flexibility to work on Saturdays and occasional holidays as needed.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift trays up to 15 kg.
