We are a fast‑growing fried‑chicken restaurant chain looking to strengthen our front‑of‑house team with a dedicated and customer‑focused Cashier. This role is pivotal in delivering a seamless dining experience, handling transactions accurately, and representing the brand with professionalism and a friendly attitude. Responsibilities
- Operate point‑of‑sale (POS) systems such as Moka, ESB, or equivalent with speed and precision.
- Process cash, credit, and digital payments while ensuring all transactions are balanced at the end of each shift.
- Greet guests warmly, answer menu questions, and provide recommendations on popular fried‑chicken items and beverage pairings.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station, including regular sanitization of equipment and work surfaces.
- Assist kitchen and floor staff during peak hours by relaying orders, handling take‑out packages, and coordinating delivery pickups.
- Monitor inventory of disposable items (e.g., napkins, condiments) and report low stock to the manager.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, health regulations, and the restaurant’s internal SOPs.
- Perform opening and closing duties, such as cash float reconciliation, safe deposit, and preparation of daily sales reports.
- Uphold the restaurant’s values by observing the five daily prayers, demonstrating good moral conduct, and adhering to a non‑smoking policy.
- Contribute to a collaborative team atmosphere by assisting colleagues, sharing feedback, and participating in regular training sessions.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Gender: Female (as per company policy).
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a restaurant cash handling or customer service role.
- Familiarity with POS systems (Moka, ESB, or similar) is essential.
- Prior experience in a fried‑chicken restaurant is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including polite communication, active listening, and conflict resolution.
- Ability to observe the five daily prayers and maintain a respectful, ethical demeanor.
- Non‑smoker with a clean personal habit record.
- Excellent numerical ability, attention to detail, and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Flexible availability to work Monday through Sunday, 08:00 – 17:00.
