We are seeking a diligent and motivated Field Collection Officer to join our fast‑growing financing company. This role is pivotal in maintaining healthy cash flow by engaging directly with customers who have overdue installments. The successful candidate will combine strong communication skills with a results‑oriented mindset to ensure timely payments while preserving positive customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site visits to consumers with overdue payments, adhering to a predefined schedule.
- Politely remind customers of their outstanding installments and clearly explain any applicable penalties.
- Educate borrowers on the importance of timely payments, the impact on their credit rating, and the terms of their financing agreement.
- Negotiate repayment plans, including promise‑to‑pay arrangements or light restructuring, to find mutually agreeable solutions.
- Enter visit outcomes and update collection status in the company’s CRM or dedicated mobile application in real time.
- Monitor and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly collection targets set by management.
- Maintain courteous and professional relationships with customers to encourage future compliance.
- Perform basic skip‑tracing when a customer cannot be located, using publicly available records and local knowledge.
- Secure collateral or guarantee assets in accordance with company policy and legal regulations, when required.
- Report field challenges, customer feedback, and potential fraud indicators to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate with the credit and legal teams to streamline the collection workflow.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Male candidates only (as specified by the client’s operational policy).
- No prior experience required; fresh graduates with strong interpersonal abilities are welcome.
- Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet collection targets.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones, GPS navigation, and data entry applications.
- Physical stamina to travel across urban and semi‑rural areas, Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
- Strong sense of integrity, confidentiality, and respect for customer privacy.
- Problem‑solving mindset and willingness to handle occasional conflict diplomatically.
