Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Koordinator Penjualan untuk Acara Sosial to join our thriving events team. This role is pivotal in driving sales for weddings, social gatherings, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) events. The ideal candidate will blend a solid educational background in hospitality, tourism, marketing, or communications with a passion for delivering unforgettable experiences to our clients.

Working Monday through Friday from 08:30 to 16:30, you will collaborate closely with the operations, catering, and creative departments to ensure every event is flawlessly executed, while also being prepared to work occasional weekends or holidays as event schedules demand.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline for wedding, social, and MICE events.
  • Prepare customized proposals, detailed quotations, and legally sound event contracts.
  • Conduct site visits and assess banquet layouts, room capacities, and technical requirements to match client expectations.
  • Maintain and expand a database of trusted wedding vendors, décor specialists, and service providers.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and service levels with both clients and vendors to achieve optimal profitability.
  • Coordinate with the event production team to ensure all sales commitments are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead conversion rates, average deal size, and client satisfaction scores.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and market insights to senior management.
  • Handle multiple client accounts simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • Represent the company at industry exhibitions, bridal fairs, and networking events to generate new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum D3/S1 in Hospitality, Tourism, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–2 years in hotel sales, banquet, event management, or wedding coordination. Fresh graduates with strong internships are welcome.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic CRM tools.
  • Core Competencies:
    • Understanding of the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing.
    • Ability to craft compelling proposals, accurate quotations, and enforceable contracts.
    • Knowledge of banquet setup, venue capacity planning, and technical event requirements.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Excellent communication, persuasive selling style, and confidence in client-facing situations.
    • Proactive, initiative‑driven, and able to work independently.
    • Professional appearance and demeanor, serving as a brand ambassador.
    • Strong negotiation skills and a target‑oriented mindset.
    • Detail‑oriented with the capacity to manage multiple clients concurrently.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on event schedules.
