We are seeking a dedicated and highly qualified Permanent Lecturer (Dosen Tetap) for the Bachelor of Information Systems (S1) program at our university. Responsibilities
The lecturer will be entrusted with a broad range of duties that support both the educational mission and the research agenda of the Information Systems department:
- Design, develop, and deliver undergraduate courses in information systems, database management, software engineering, and related subjects.
- Prepare engaging lecture materials, including slide decks, case studies, and hands‑on lab exercises that reflect current industry practices.
- Assess student performance through assignments, examinations, projects, and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Guide student research projects, capstone experiences, and supervise theses for final‑year students.
- Participate in curriculum review and continuous improvement initiatives to keep the program aligned with emerging technologies and market demands.
- Conduct independent or collaborative research, publish findings in reputable journals, and present at national or international conferences.
- Serve on departmental committees, accreditation panels, and contribute to university governance.
- Engage with industry partners to create internship opportunities, guest lectures, and joint research projects.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of pedagogical best practices, including the use of e‑learning platforms and blended learning techniques.
Requirements
Qualified candidates must meet the following criteria and possess the attributes outlined below:
- Academic qualification: Minimum Master’s degree (S2) in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related field; a doctoral degree (S3) is highly desirable.
- Current status: Must not already hold a NIDN (National Lecturer Identification Number) or NUPTK (Teacher Registration Number).
- Documentation: Complete CV, photocopies of diplomas and transcripts (S1, S2, and S3 if applicable), and any relevant professional certifications.
- Teaching competence: Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum, deliver lectures, and employ innovative instructional strategies.
- Research orientation: Proven track record of scholarly publications or a clear research agenda aligned with information systems.
- Soft skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentorship abilities; teamwork orientation; adaptability to a dynamic academic environment.
- Language proficiency: Excellent command of Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English for academic publishing and international collaboration.
- Commitment: Willingness to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional participation in evening seminars or weekend workshops.
