Responsibilities
- Transport raw materials and finished products by road, ensuring timely delivery to designated locations.
- Conduct regular pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of the vehicle, identifying safety issues or mechanical problems and reporting them promptly.
- Plan optimal routes and delivery schedules, taking into account traffic patterns, road conditions, and customer time windows.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including cargo manifests, mileage logs, and any incident reports.
- Comply with all traffic laws, company policies, and industry regulations governing the operation of B2 class trucks.
- Follow the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for loading, securing, and unloading cargo.
- Collect and verify delivery instructions from dispatch, ensuring that each shipment meets quality and safety standards.
- Report any product defects, accidents, or regulatory violations to management immediately.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil checks, tire pressure monitoring, and basic repairs to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and fellow drivers to coordinate loading sequences and resolve any logistical challenges.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; any major is acceptable.
- Male candidates only, as stipulated by local labor regulations for this vehicle class.
- Maximum age of 34 years.
- At least 2 years of professional experience driving a B2‑class truck.
- Active SIM B2 Umum (general driver’s license) with a clean record.
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong organizational skills for route planning and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with dispatch, customers, and internal teams.
- Resides in Cikarang or surrounding areas, or willing to relocate.
- Proactive attitude toward safety, with a willingness to follow SOPs and report issues without delay.
- Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading tasks and long driving hours.
