Introduction

This full‑time position is based at our flagship outlet in Gentan and offers a dynamic work environment where customer service excellence and operational accuracy are highly valued. As a cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring every transaction is processed flawlessly.
Responsibilities
- Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision, maintaining a balanced cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system to input orders, apply discounts, and generate receipts quickly and accurately.
- Greet customers warmly, answer basic menu questions, and provide recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
- Coordinate closely with kitchen staff to ensure orders are fulfilled promptly and any special requests are communicated clearly.
- Monitor inventory of cash register supplies (receipts, bags, coupons) and report shortages to the store manager.
- Resolve minor billing discrepancies on the spot and escalate complex issues to management when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Assist in end‑of‑day reconciliation, preparing financial reports for accounting purposes.
- Participate in regular training sessions on new menu items, promotional campaigns, and POS updates.
- Uphold Luwes Gentan’s brand image by presenting a neat, professional appearance and demonstrating courteous behavior at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a cashier in the F&B sector is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong numeracy skills with the ability to calculate transactions accurately and quickly.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of serving diverse customers with patience and a smile.
- Highly disciplined, honest, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Familiarity with standard cashier systems and basic computer literacy.
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
