Introduction
Home Credit, a leading consumer finance provider in Indonesia, is expanding its field collection team and is looking for motivated individuals to join as a Kolektor Lapangan Penagihan Piutang (Field Collection Agent). The role is based in the Tanjung Pinang area, covering neighboring districts and, where applicable, the Siantar Marimbun region. As a Field Agent, you will act as the face of Home Credit in the community, fostering positive relationships, ensuring timely repayment of loans, and supporting borrowers through the payment process. The role is ideal for candidates who are self‑driven, possess strong interpersonal skills, and have a solid understanding of their local area.
Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled visits to assigned customers in the Tanjung Pinang and surrounding areas, following Home Credit’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Communicate clearly with borrowers about overdue payments, explaining repayment options and deadlines.
- Assist customers in completing payments on‑site, handling cash, electronic transfers, and issuing receipts in accordance with company policy.
- Collect and verify required documentation, such as identification cards and proof of income, to update customer records.
- Report daily activity, including visit outcomes, payment collections, and any disputes, using the mobile CRM application.
- Identify early warning signs of payment difficulty and proactively suggest restructuring options to supervisors.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold Home Credit’s brand reputation during all field interactions.
- Provide feedback on common customer concerns to help improve the company’s collection strategies and product offerings.
- Adhere to safety protocols while traveling, ensuring personal and public safety during field operations.
Requirements
- Education: All educational levels accepted; a high school diploma or higher is preferred.
- Age: No maximum age limit; candidates must be legally able to work.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Local Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the geography of Kota Tanjung Pinang and its surrounding neighborhoods.
- Transportation: Own a reliable motorcycle and hold a valid, active SIM C license.
- Experience: No prior experience required, though experience in field collection, sales, or customer service is advantageous.
- Documentation (if experienced): Provide work reference letters, a “paklaring” (employment certificate), or any official statement confirming prior collector duties.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities; high level of integrity and empathy.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency with smartphones, GPS navigation, and mobile data entry tools.
