Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Medical Sales Representative to join our expanding team in the Musi Rawas region. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and nurturing relationships within the midwife (bidan) channel, ensuring our high‑quality health products reach the hands of professionals who need them most. This role offers the opportunity to work across several key territories in South Sumatra, including Palembang, Muara Enim, Musi Banyuasin, Musi Rawas, and Lubuk Linggau, with a focus on delivering measurable growth and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular, scheduled visits to midwives and related healthcare facilities to present and detail product information, ensuring thorough understanding and correct usage.
- Check product availability at each customer site, assist with order placement, and follow up to guarantee timely delivery.
- Manage the invoicing and collection process for midwife accounts, adhering to agreed payment terms and maintaining clean receivables.
- Build and maintain professional, trust‑based relationships with midwives, doctors, nurses, and pharmacists within the assigned territory.
- Achieve defined sales KPIs, including:
- Value and volume sales targets
- Outlet transaction coverage
- On‑time accounts receivable collection
- Develop and maintain a Master Customer List (MCL) and a Fixed Journey Plan to ensure every customer is visited according to schedule.
- Coordinate trade and marketing programs, ensuring equitable distribution and alignment with corporate objectives.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, highlighting performance against targets, trade program outcomes, and market insights.
- Identify emerging market trends, provide feedback to product and marketing teams, and propose actionable strategies to capture new opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (any discipline). A background in science or health‑related studies is a strong plus.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a medical or health‑product sales representative.
- Demonstrated integrity, honesty, and a professional attitude.
- Excellent planning skills, with the ability to create effective sales routes and visit schedules.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, especially in building relationships with HCPs (doctors, nurses, midwives, pharmacists).
- Possession of a valid motorbike, up‑to‑date registration documents, and a SIM C license.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the designated territories.
- Analytical mindset for interpreting sales data and making data‑driven decisions.
